Texas is the near future will be blue. We were Democrat before and one result was Roe (let us have referendum and it be will landslide to legalize abortion just like Red Kansas and Ohio)and ending establishment of religion in public schools.Texans are more progressive than the establishment gives then credit. Death To Fascist!
U.S. soldiers are very much majority conservative, as are firearm owners. How an actual civil war would end is obvious.
Yep. China and/or Russia rolls over us while the military traitors are violating their oath to defend and protect the Constitution killing fellow Americans. Ni hao!
You're drawing conclusions about which side of the conflict would be "protecting the Constitution" and would therefore have the support of the military. I do agree on the China/Russia angle though. However, I think they'd most likely sit back and wait for everything to unravel and then take over once there's a clear victor. There's no sense in stepping into an active civil war when instead you could avoid casualties of your own, avoid the possibility of giving them something to unite over, and hit them when they're already weak.
Considering Texas, Florida, AND California cedes in this movie, it doesn't look like a liberal-conservative divide. Imagine what it would take for Californians and Texas to ally and fight Washington DC? I can't right now, so hopefully this will be an interesting scenario
Didn't Tesla just move a significant amount of its manufacturing to TX. Just think of all the CA folks that were dragged along. Wait Oracle moved to TX too. So did a big chunk of old HP. There are just too many to count, but they all dragged CA folks into TX.
